Roee Lavan has released an instrumental cover of Jerry Douglas "Route Irish"

As a part of Roee Lavan's "Blue Light Project" Album, Lavan released another cover song and this time he decided to use Irish folk song by Jerry Douglas, "Route Irish". A few years ago, before Roee was diagnosed with GBM he got back performing and recording blues folk and swing with the Harmonica and accordion player Guy Dagan. so folk songs were not a stranger issue for Lavan. during his recovering from his brain tumor craniotomy it took a while but Lavan got back to listen to music that inspires him. here are few words

The Jerry Douglas "Route Irish" theme helped me recover from my brain surgery in such an influential way. I started playing songs that I felt reflected my emotional state. It helped me find inspiration not just to go back to listening to music, I kept rehearsing. And recording. I guess the video to be released will reflect Exactly what I felt in my darkest emotional days. I wish you all to be healthy and strong and keep music in your lives, Music is your only friend untill the end.
